Ellie was discovered on Saddle Road, the main highway that travels across the Big Island, next to her mother who had tragically succumbed to a car accident. A compassionate family saw her and decided to intervene. After exhausting all other resources, the family ultimately decided to seek refuge for her at the sanctuary. Today, she's thriving here and very close friends with Yana!
